  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Official 0-60 & 1/4 mile thread

Yes sir, will be ordering that soon! Lol.
Even if you don’t have any mods you can also keep it on map 0 and get your baseline 1/4 mile times. I like the track a little better for those times since they are a couple hundredths quicker than draggy lol

I definitely received a defective product. After charging up for 3 hours and leaving it plugged in, it still won't connect to the app. Returning it. Darn.
I was wrong, it wasn't the dragy but my phone, Samsung Note 8...Smdh. I ordered a new one which I received today, thanks to Amazon next day delivery. It gave me the same issue as the other one. Then tried it with my older phone, an S7, connected instantly. 🤬

Anyways, gotta let everything charge up now, will report later after I make a few runs! 🙌

Lol. That’s why I’m all about that iPhone life!!!!

But good to hear you got it figured out. Can’t wait for you to join the mod addiction with us lmao

To get the da info and elevation make sure you allow the draggy to use your phones location when using the app

@joschneider @Vortex951

User error, I didn't turn on location, I didn't know. Will remember to do that next time. I'm Rwd on 91 octane.
It took me a while to figure it out lol. That’s a good time for stock rwd. Dead on with what they claim.

According to your acceleration graph, it looks like your shifts are fantastic. You did a really good job. Nice.

How exactly did you do this run? Were you manually shifting?

Man, honestly... I don't even remember.. lol.. I was just so excited to get the dragy working.. I did like multiple runs, doing different things, full auto, some manual, a combination of both.

Next time I will keep better track of what I'm doing. I'm just happy I got under 5 seconds.

Also, can you explain the acceleration graph? I don't know what it means.

So, generally speaking, the acceleration portion of the graph (yellow line) represents how hard your car is pulling. The higher the line relative to the 0.0 horizontal line, the faster you are accelerating. With this you can easily see gear changes and how hard your car is launching.

Here is a graph where my shifts were horrible...

The red arrows point to 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift, can you see the huge dip in the yellow line, especially in the 1-2 gear change? I'm not seeing those huge dips in your graph, this, you had good shifts I think.

Now compare my above graph to my fastest run, and notice how the gear changes are quicker and don't result in as big/long of dips on the graph...

Much quicker shifts here, resulting in my faster time, even though my acceleration curve still peaked at 1g in both graphs (ie was still making the same power).

Hope this makes sense.

That's a good observation. I just checked my 4.53 run and it's pretty smooth as well @Toddasaurus.

@mrcleeaan - out of curiosity, next time you fill in gas, grab $20 of 87 octane and try it out. I'd love to see what happens with your time..

Slowly getting quicker

Okay so these are my best two passes from the night. I broke into the 1.7 60 foot with a 1.79. But it was late and the car was pretty well heat soaked so I lost power top end so I’m confident if I can replicate that I’ll have a 12.1 on my hands and also I set by far my best 0-60
