The big issue I’ve seen with the brake snip is only on awd cars having the problems. Rwd when you start to build to much boost it just spins the rears and takes the stress of it when that happens. From what I’ve seen the awd issue is the rear starts spinning and they keep holding the brake. So the car tries to transfer more power to the front then that messes the transfer case up

^ I actually cancelled it. I had my fun in the beginning...told myself I was done. It's like an addiction...LOL.

Now...if Todd or Terry/BMS come up with a cool "brake snip" solution...I might reconsider

I think you cancelled it because you never ran a 3.8 and you know it can't be reproduced...

Yes I have no idea what the 0-60 was though cause my draggy wasn’t on

My da has dropped about 1000 since that run so I’m going to try and get one more in

So this run I tried something very different from what I’ve ever done. I did my burn out to warm up the tires. Running map 7. Held 1 pound of boost in first gear. And left the car in auto. Didn’t start in first then switch to auto. I still had a very very very small amount of wheel hop but the practice I have been doing seems to be helping launch this big ole girl. And a tuned s7 was running around the 12.4-12.5 range so I’m happy with that.
I was a little scared during this run also and almost backed out cause the tail end of the car was a little squirly close to half way down the track. All in all I’m extremely happy considering my da was about 5300. Never got in another run since they had the big street outlaw cars there as well. But next time I’ll have the intercooler, snorkels, and ewg plugs for the wastegate

With that 60 foot, and your trap speed still 113 I bet your 0-60 was on point and a personal record. Sucks you didn’t have it

That’s what I was thinking as well. When I ran my 4.40 my 60’ was 2.00

That's is amazing time! I don't really keep up with this thread or your car, but can you give me a brief summary of the mods? Are you taking things out of the car, like seats and tire? Is this all JB4 or other mods?

So far 3.94 is now my fastest time.

My car has a full interior, so all car seats, headrests, and even floor mats are still in the car. I removed my 2 child seats, also my trunk cargo mat and first aid kit, and removed my owners manual from my glove box. I removed my spare tire and associated toolkit.

Also, gas was a little less than half full.
