I have many thoughts to submit, but ultimately to do these things, they need to update their SW release processes to reguarly (monthly at a minimum) push OTA bug-fixes and feature drops. As far as features and fixes:
Allow automemory/recall of the ipedal setting + drive mode setting tied together the driver profile (I would like to keep 1 driver profile in full time 1-pedal driving with custom comfort/sport config, and the other driver's setting to Level 0 regen + eco driving because of the differing accelerator usage pattern).
Fix bugs around driver profile auto switching based on key fob used (i regularly see my profile for seat settings being the default with my partner's key fob, even though we set 2 profiles, each with different keys in the car at the time)
Faster responsiveness on actions sent from the mobile app to the vehicle, and faster interaction of the UI (the app needs to be completely rewritten UX wise)
Ability to kickoff OTA updates from mobile device when vehicle is already at the minimum update charge threshold (vs. having to go and click on the car console to accept the OTA update)
Wireless android auto/
carplay (Bought a usb device as a workaround). Allow their map/route set in apple maps or google maps to integrate with charging stops along the route, and preconditioning automatically getting kicked off at the right time on those routes
Switchable usb power tab on the mirror - could be used for
dashcams and radar detectors
Smartwatch digital key for both iOS and WearOS
dual phone wireless charger hardware for the phone charging slot - allow for driver + passenger wireless phone stowage/charging while driving
300 mile range on a charge for performance edition of vehicle
AI/natural language based voice commands + learning, for vehicle controls, smart route planning, smart scheduling, smart customer service etc. - the concierge can truly be virtual:
(e.g. "Genesis, please set my temperature to 70 and my front passenger to 72", or "Genesis, I'd like to go from my current location to pickup the kids at school and then go to their after school piano lessons at 123 main street" - and then next time have it recall that piano lessons location without me having to say the address. or "Genesis have my commute mapped to start at 8am tomorrow" and it automatically has the best route calculated based on current traffic conditions.
Also they could put more work into automated scheduling for customer service visits when recall notices are sent out e.g. 'a new service notice has been sent out, based on your google calendar, the following dates/times look available - would you like to schedule one of these dates with the dealership service center'....it isn't that hard any more to do this sort of smart integration.
