Where do I start?
I agree with many of the points already made and would include / reinforce some of these as follows:
I agree with many of the points already made and would include / reinforce some of these as follows:
- If you can't produce more regular OTA updates as Tesla do, then can you licence the Tesla operating system to work with the GV60. Their software is vastly superior but I don't want to drive a Tesla. This is a must and the number of software controlled functions that could be available to drivers to manage is huge and need not be restricted.
- Walk away locking as standard
- Dashcam and sentry mode using the proliferation of cameras already built into the car; could be stored on app in phone / PC if no memory capacity in car
- Improve efficiency of Sport plus to get closer to 4 miles/KWhr (and beyond?) and thus improve range
- Add Tesla Superchargers to Genesis maps so pre-conditioning works OR add manual pre-conditioning; I would prefer the former
- Alexa integration
- Homelink, or similar, features for gates / garage doors
- Memory functions related to key fobs so car set up for individual drivers based on key fob in range of car
- Intelligent charging to maximise charging rates of various chargers
- Not sure why passenger cannot benefit from seat massaging features, side bolsters etc. If there are two people in the front on long journeys, why should the passenger also benefit from massage?
- Competitive insurance; just got a quote from "Genesis" insurance at 2x what I have got from my current insurer; madness and hardly a benefit. When I collected the car last year I was inundated with offers from Genesis PA to take advantage of their "great" deals only to find they couldn't provide cover for GV60 as they had changed insurance company.
- My facial recognition feature doesn't work and having gone back to get this sorted, almost a year ago, I was told at the time it was a "software" issue. How can this be the case when it only affects a few cars? I still haven't had this resolved despite being told that Genesis would be looking into it. It's a feature that I would really like to have and its very annoying that it doesn't work for me.
