  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Painted Brake Calipers

you should never ever modify your car. if they wanted the calipers to be a certain color they would have done it at the factory.

The new guys don't know how tongue in cheek this is:p

I'm looking at powder coating mine as well. I'm leaning to something similar to the burnt gold color you see on the older GTR and Infiniti's. There was a color I saw once from Polaris motorcycles called "Nuclear Orange" that was insane looking. Something along those lines might be cool with my Empire State gray... I don't want to do red, it's all over the place. Decisions...

I have done mine in Red, see pictures

After mucho thought I will go same color as the wheels (charcoal with a touch of metal flake). Epoxy paint with a clear coat on top. When I do these I remove them entirely, sandblast/plug/mask and then paint in a spray booth. Holds up forever. Will post some pictures when done. Maybe this weekend, if not then the following.
I would appreciate you sharing what paint you used and whether it held up after driving through a few seasons... Thanks in advance!

Here's mine on a Pamplano Red exterior.

Forget caliper paint, anyone know if the stinger GT Brembo brakes fit our cars.
