  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello All,

I just wanted to present what the 2015 Genesis in Pamplona Red looks like. We just received it in a base model 3.8L.

hard to tell from your pictures exactly what the color looks like. is it close to the cabrinet on the older Genesis?

No. Pamplona Red is the color of fresh blood from people who participate in the running of the bulls each year. Cabernet Red is the color of red wine. So the old one is darker.

Yes, they are very close in color. I sat in a new one a week ago. I think the Cabernet Red Pearl has just a bit more cranberry or purple in it, though. The new red has a little touch of tomato. Still, if they are not side-by-side, I don't think anybody could tell the difference. Of course, I like my color best.

And as with most Cabernet's, after-notes of chocolate, licorice, and raspberry.
