  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pedal Commander is now available for the Genesis G70

My question is about the differences between the different brands. Sprint Booster is apparently the original and claims to open the throttle plate faster vs. others that just push the throttle faster (but don't change the speed of the throttle plate opening). If you can open the throttle plate faster, then you could actually do a faster 0-60, 1/4 mile etc. I just don't know how fast our throttle plate opens and if only the Sprint Booster does this for our car...

I'm interested in the effects of this on a manual car. I def feel a bit of a delay between pedal and revving, I'm wondering if this or the BMS product can help w/that.

is there any downside to one of these in a 3.3T, in terms of engine/transmission wear (don't care about the tires). I assume this breaks warranty so can it be removed easily prior to servicing.

I have not used it my G70 but the wife's Santa Fe..
No worries. It won't break your warranty.
And you do not have to remove it.
Just hide it out of plain sight.

Stinger forum has tons of people with experiences using it and not one has had an issue with it. Same should apply to us. Apparently people who get them, love them. Try it out and let us know!

Wouldn't recommend for the 3 manual guys out there. Doesn't fix the delay and also makes the car very jumpy when you have it turned up. I felt putting the car in sport mode had basically the same effect as when it's turned on the normal setting. I returned mine.

I am currently using the BMS pedal tuner on the G70 2.0T 8AT. I am basically using it to have a better throttle response in comfort mode. For that it works very well. I would have liked to have the Sprint booster for its other features, but thought I'd support this site by purchasing that one off here.

I recently picked up a WindBooster because BMS was sold out of Pedal Tuners and the WB is on sale for $115 or something. Thanks to Kato the Stinger on the Stinger forums.

Install was simple and the size of the device is tiny. Really nice actually. I've only had it installed for a day and gone for three drives but so far, I really do like it. I have it set to Sport mode, which seems to hit the sweet spot for my driving. Now when I'm in Normal mode, it's just as responsive as Sport mode, so no need to switch unless I want to hold more revs and have quicker shifts. When I do switch to Sport, things are amped up and the car is ready to go, like. right. now.

Yes - it feels more responsive and it more fun to drive.

I did try some of the other modes... Sport+, Race, Drag. Sport+ is pretty much the limit for me. The other two are like a switch. Way to sensitive.

It's also got an i-auto mode that claims to "Identify driving habits automatically, provide the best response for the driver, no mode selection worries" I may try this one day but for now, Sport mode it is!

I've got one like new P. Commander for sale in the Genesis Classifieds/ Genesis Market Place forum in case someone might be interested.

Price reduced to $189.99 same other terms applied.

No longer available. "SOLD"
