  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Penzoil runs ZERO risk of a claim and 100% chance making profit off you using their product. This Tau engine will be the last thing to go down on a Genesis. The weak link in modern vehicles is electronics. Multiple hot and cold cycles play havoc with solid state electronics. Think about it. would you put your Ipad or I phone in an oven or a freezer? Not, electronic gremlins
plague most high end vehicles well before 200,000 miles. ;)

The engine may fail, but do you have to prove it was caused by the oil in order to collect the Pennzoil warranty? I haven't read the details, so I am just asking, but that is usually how those things work.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Regardless of the warranty, for those who use Penzoil it's a good way to get an oil change on them. I have used their oil now for a long time and have had zero problems with the engine on any of my cars. Oil, just like the products you use to wash and wax your car are a personal preference and this just happens to be mine....thought to share it with others who also use Penzoil.

There is no way in hell that one can prove that an engine part failed because Pennzoil failed to provide proper lubrication, assuming their was the proper amount oil in the crankcase and assuming the service items are followed.

No, the engine isn't likely to fail because of their oil and if it did maybe you will or wont be successful with filing a claim.......but YES your getting 5 Quarts of oil for free after rebate. That is all ! :grouphug:
