Getting familiar with the group...
I'm loving my new Genesis so far - just took delivery Wednesday evening. I leased the 3.8 V6 with the technology package - white satin pearl with cashmere interior. I'm coming out of a 36 month lease of an Infiniti M35.
I had been looking at options to replace the M35 for the past couple of months - another M35 (same as my 2006 model
), the Lexus ES350 (nice but not very exciting), the BMW 528i (great car but adding any cool techy stuff jacks the price way up), the new Nissan Maxima (nice car but a little tight on interior space), the Acura TL (what were the designers thinking? 
).
I had come close to settling on the new Maxima - it seemed like the best value for the money, and I couldn't get too excited about any of the others. Then I decided to go see this Hyundai called the Genesis that I'd been reading about. Wow! I really liked it - looked good, was roomier than the Maxima, priced right, drove great, and with the tech package has lots of cool toys to enjoy.
My dealer found my Genesis from another dealer and trucked it in for me. I happened to be at the dealer in the showroom when the truck drove up out front. We all went out to see it and were surprised to find the Genesis Wings on the trunk in place of the flying H. Apparently the dealer it came from is doing this to all of their Genesis's. I had ordered the wings, the wheel caps, and the steering wheel emblem and expect them today or tomorrow, but was happy to see the trunk wings already in place. Now I can't wait to get the wheel caps on and see what the steering wheel wings look like (I'm skeptical but optimistic).
I'll take some pictures over the weekend and get them posted. Thanks to all you guys for your postings. Reading these forums helped me make my decision to lease the Genesis.

. Seriously, congrats on getting a great car in a great color combo. You will be surprised at the attention it draws.
