  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pics of my G70

I put Coke into mine and it keeps it cold all damn day - they're great. But I only got one tumbler with my car...
You bet I'm gonna raise hell if I don't get one with mine... that better not be a Canadian only incentive! It's alot hotter in the US than in Canada! LOL

I am very tempted to complain to the sales agent about the Tumbler now...

i didn't get the tumblers but i got a $100 gift card for the Keg restaurant (local steak house) and a hand written thank you card, but that's it, nothing else. i didn't need to ask for the basic floor mats, those came with the vehicle.

i actually got a call from genesis HQ Canada today, they were asking me about the whole genesis experience. and at one point they asked if i got any thank you cards or small gifts from the genesis experience manager, i told them what i got and that i was happy about the whole experience, i told them that i would take the $100 gift card over any customized umbrella/cups (i told them i got those little gifts from Lexus) any day, and then they mentioned that that do have those kind of small stuff and that she doesn't know why my experience manager did not include those things.

I agree , it does not cost the reps very much for these little gifts and gestures but it does make you feel a little nicer about the deal, i know i wont forget have a couple of cold brewskis while taking delivery of my G70, what a fun day !!!

Yes why pay so little for the cup when you can get one for $50k and they through in a free G70!:grinlaugh:

New announcement from Genesis! Buy one Genesis travel mug for $50,000 and get a FREE all-new G70 of your choice!! Buy two or more mugs and we'll throw in a G90 too!!

OK mom, sorry, back on topic of the Pics of the G70 thread..... LOL

I haven't driven it much other then home from the dealership. I take it in tomorrow to get xpel installed and nano coating, so won't get to drive it much for the next week

I'm late to this party - but wow - that's nice... Love that dark grey. Easy to keep clean - and there's just something about it. Man, these are going to sell like water in a desert when they're released in the U.S. Such a nice car inside and out...

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Can anyone get pictures (preferably videos) of the running LED options for the head lights and tail lights? They seem to have multiple configurations.
You don't ask for much.

They definitly are not Jet Black but more of a dark grey but there are alot of tones between grey and black so depends on perception. If someone asked me in passing i would say black with red stich but if someone had a gun to my head i may say dark grey with red stich lol hope that makes sense

I now understand why the black seats look gray in the pictures. It’s not the optics and physics, but the reality of how a photo, especially taken by an amateur like me, with an iPhone camera can appear a different color.

This is a photo I took of the black Nappa (no stiching) leather seats in a G70 2.0T. I swear, to my eyes, the seats were darker than coal, but look how gray they look in this photo!

This shows that no matter how good the photos and videos are, especially the professional ones, they still cannot show how absolutely visually stunning the G70 is in person.

Um...ok...sorry to break it to you...but I think you need a new iPhone. LOL. That photo you attached looks like light gray...or an off beige. Hahahaa.

And to me...black hides character lines of the car. Lighter colors show contours better.
we call that ‘stealth mode.’ ;)
Having owned a number of black cars for years I completely agree on some of the ‘downside’ listed above, but give me a freshly-waxed black beauty every time!

I totally agree. iPhone camera is substandard. That said, I do think the exterior photos came out better.

Pretty much any camera with auto-exposure will set the average brightness to the equivalent of a medium (typically 18%) gray. If there isn't any variation in the tone of what's in the image, that tone will be rendered with a medium gray brightness, be it white, black, or something in between. So, a close-up of a seat, that doesn't have anything but the seat in the image, will make it look much lighter if it's black, much darker if it's white. An exterior shot would do the same thing if you put the camera right up against the body and there were no reflections. But in the more likely case that you're standing back a bit and objects of other brightnesses are visible, either directly or in reflection, the camera is more likely to get it right. The overall (averaged) brightness will be set to medium gray but the individual elements in the scene will vary from light to dark. Hope that explanation makes sense.

Yes. Much appreciated.

The take-away here for me is that the actual G70 looks far better inside and outside of even the best photos. I sat in the driver’s seat and didn’t want to get out.

Congratulations. That is an awesome color on an awesome car. Pics never do the car justice, but yours are very good.

That is a sweet color for g70. I hope it's not sport-exclusive in the US as I'm leaning towards the 3.3T advanced and it'd look awesome with the 10 spoke wheels
