  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the OEM Dunlops on my 2010 4.6. I have 32000 miles on the Dunlops, and they are shot. On Tire Rack, i see the Pirelli Neros for a very competitive price. Does anyone have these on their Genny? I'd appreciate any feedback.

My Pirelli PZero Nero started to "thump" after only 10000 miles on them. Would not buy another set.

I've put about 10k miles on my Pirelli Nero's and my opinion is they are a good tire for that price point. The wet traction is certainly better than the Donlop tires that came on my car, but I don't think they are much quieter. I guess time will tell if they get as noisy and "bumpy" as the Dunlop's did.

We purchased a 09 3.8 this past Feb. It came with new P Nero Zeros. We have 11k on the tires. So far no problems. We had snow here twice since purchase and they have performed well. That said 11k is not that many miles. Hope this helps a little.
