  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Please tell me there's a way to change this...

Bluetooth switching to FM/AM at startup

I listen to music/podcasts via Bluetooth about 98% of the time in the car. It seems that when you turn the car off it defaults back to AM/FM and you have to manually switch it to Bluetooth every time.

Is there a way to change this?

You will probably get more responses if your subject title actually refers to your question/topic rather than making it appear to be click bait.

I feel your pain. Many a time, I have left the volume at 25 while listening to a quieter piece of music only to return and have the radio blasting.

What I've done is switch the channel to one which isn't broadcasting so therefore no sound but of course, that doesn't solve the central issue.

Somebody poop in your cheerios this morning?

Yeah, that's what I've resorted to. I usually listen to podcasts where I have to raise the volume pretty high to actually here it, and when it switches the FM, the volume is ridiculously high.

I can't stand thread titles like that either. It upsets the fundamental order of the universe. Why even have thread titles (or threads) if they don't reflect the actual subject of the post? But I don't own this forum.

I guess I'm in the minority. Taking less than one second to press the "Media" button has never really crossed my mind as much of an issue to worry about even though I too am listening to Spotify over Bluetooth 90% of the time I'm in the car.

It's definitely not a deal breaker, but just makes no sense. Why default to AM/FM?
