Still not even a courtesy call from my dealer, which I find completely unbelievable.
But, I did get a call from my Mazda Dealer this morning that the Red Turbo S Premium Plus with the inline 6 mild hybrid, arrived this morning. They said they could hold it for me for 24 hours, but they had a list of people who want the car, so we went over after lunch, negotiated a decent deal (not much incentive to discount them much, since they were just released this month and they can sell everyone they get and more if they could) and I'll be picking her up tomorrow afternoon. I'm just relieved to know I'll be driving a very luxurious car, with a great engine, which I know has Mazda reliability. And it's simply a stunningly beautiful SUV, with Napa Leather seats, Suede on the dash and door inserts and every technical and safety feature one could possibly want.
We then drove the 45 miles to the Genesis dealer as I still had all my personal things in the GV70. When the car failed and had to be towed, I never imagined, it would need such a serious operation and still be there almost a month later. It was just sad to me to see the car, with no engine or transmission and the back cargo area torn apart to get to wiring harnesses. One week from today, I'll either file the Lemon Law or tell Genesis they have to buy it back as it will qualify for either at that point. Then we'll buy my partner a Mazda CX50 Premium Plus as he doesn't want a car as big as the CX70.
