Possible Genesis purchase, looking for feedback

If they can throw in a 10/100 Hyundai Platinum Protection (HPP) extended warranty, I'd go for it.

The Genesis is a nicer car than any Dodge/Chrysler competitor and that's coming from somebody who has owned both, actually likes the FCA products quite a bit - and plans to get a Hellcat Charger some day.

But 70,000 miles per year............. You need a lifetime warranty.

I always loved the FCA cars that I've had before, but having two Rams with the Death Wobble, and a GC with same... plus a Charger with electrical issues.. I'm leery. The upside of an FCA product is that any Dodge/Chrysler dealership in Smalltown USA should have parts to service any Dodge/Chrysler vehicle and knowledge to do that. Seems like the Hyundai dealerships don't seem to be as readily able to service the Genesis.

Yea... Lots of seat time. I wore out a MKIII Focus in about two years and am tired of the small car thing, despite the gas mileage.

Yea, mine dated back to the 90s and weren't included in the buy back. Plus I don't have them anymore

I just found a 2013 3.8 with 24k on the clock, asking 20,500. Going to check it out tomorrow. It's the best deal I've found yet.
