  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I sure wish we had more info on this Genesis Finance Balloon Loan and associated rebate that is similar to lease cash. I tried to call Genesis Finance and they advise me to talk to the dealers. Talking to dealers in CA and AZ, they say they either don't offer it or it is an old program that they no longer use. Anyone know of other options to get info about this?
Try calling the two dealers in Texas I dealt with. Genesis of Plano and Genesis of Dallas.

I spoke to a local dealer and they are telling me their MF is .00049 with Circle A pricing, instead of the .00009 rate from Edmunds. They're telling me they are allowed to mark it up 40 basis points, which they basically are. Should I try other dealers around me or is this the norm?

On Thursday I got mine with circle pricing and a .00006 MF. Was actually lower than the .00009 I also saw on Edmonds. They did try to play the game of marking it up on me and I basically just countered asking if my credit wasn’t good enough to qualify for the best rate and they caved pretty quickly.

They came down $275 more instead of adjusting the mf. This is the deal I’m getting ready to sign the lease for on a 2019 G70 3.3T RWD:
MSRP: $49,270
Final price with circle A pricing: $44,300 (including $1367 taxes and all fees)
I’m thinking this deal looks good, but I just wanted to see if you guys agree.

Rough math says you’re paying $20 more a month with higher MF. Over the course of the lease that’s $720. So they’re giving you some of it back with the $275 but not all. Still pretty good all things considered

That’s true...honestly their paperwork was rife with errors, we had rent charge showing .12 that they came back and said oops and changed to $1214, aside from others. They are dropping the mandatory add ons charge (exterior/interior protection, window tint and all weather mats) of $1200. Our final monthly payments are just about $600 (36 mo 15k). I haven’t been to any other dealerships and if it’s a good deal I don’t want to lose it, but I just want to make sure I’m not being taken since it’s my first time leasing.

Seems like a good deal to me from what I saw, especially if they’re waving the $1200. Ultimately just depends if you really like that specific car though

That's a pretty good deal. The only thing you're losing out on is the MF, and the amount you're paying extra was quantified earlier. And yeah, Hyundai dealerships usually cling onto their add-ons like the $1200 extra, so if they drop that, that's good. If you don't want to put extra effort, that's a fine deal to go with. But if you want the best, I would email other dealerships saying "this is the deal I got, can you do better?" It shouldn't compromise your current one, but if you do this be sure to state you want OTD price and no extra add-ons or surprise fees if you walk in.

I understand. Unfortunately I found about the circle plan and all a little late and needed it to pull the trigger right away. I was able to find a code on Google for ReMax which worked and the dealership took it! I just purchased a 3.3 AWD G70 Sport for $46,500!

That is the spec i'm looking at exactly and $46,500 seems like a good deal to me but i'm still researching. Would you mind if I ask how much you put down and the monthly your looking at?

I put no money down and had a $26,250 trade. I bought the warranty through Genesis that covers everything (including wheel scratches and minor dents) for 10 years for an additional $2,500. I financed just about $25,000 out the door at 2.9% for $380 a month for 72 months.

Just so you know, I had to fight this dealer a LOT with Circle A. They tried telling me that they couldn't take it, and then they tried to say that they could, but I don't qualify for the special financing, which I did.

Hey all, I recently stumbled on this forum in researching a purchase of a 2019 G70 3.3 AWD.

I find myself in a little bit of a predicament in that I have to buy something before the months end as I do not want to sink any more money into repairs of an old car in order to pass inspection.

I saw a few references to "Circle A" discounts but could not find any other information other than to keep continually posting and somehow the info will be sent to you.

However, as I said, I'm on somewhat of a time crunch here. I can assure you that I am indeed very real and very interested in making this purchase bit obviously would like to obtain the best deal possible.

Would anyone be as so kind to help me out with this? It would greatly be appreciated.

You may have a tough go at it time wise. A member here has been able to help people with the Circle pricing, but it is done with private messaging. To keep the forum free of spammers you have to have some amount of activity here before you can PM someone. The activity is more than just a certain number of posts.

Just in case though, you may want to try using truecar.com I used them and got a good deal that way.

Ok, so I was able to Google the Remax code for the circle A discount. I trust this is what people are referencing: the 3% off MSRP? And I take it this discount is in addition to any other incentives/discounts they are throwing around?

I completely understand, thank you.

This was horrible advice, FYI. Truecar is a joke that locks you into non-negotiable sales prices and prevents you from deleting your account.

Are you affiliated with Truecar?

I did not use the Truecar dealer but used their information to get a great deal easily. Never heard from them again after either. Sorry you don't really know hot to buy a car.

Please keep the discussions civil. I'm tired of having to intervene all the time, and it's always the same people involved.

If you can't play nice on this forum, maybe a different forum is the right fit for you.

I sent a PM to matpal...he'll be all set. I was also in a time crunch to unload my car...so I feel his pain.

Are you looking to pay in full in cash or lease/finance?

Finance, but I'd be open to a lease if it wound up being a better deal after all is said and done, knowing that I'd buy out the lease at the end of the term.
