  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know if @r_spec or anyone else is still able to help with the Circle A pricing? Would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Last I heard r_spec had said he was no longer providing circle A pricing. Have not seen anyone new step up with that capability just yet. Some members have negotiated just as good pricing at times. It was sure nice to not have to screw with all that though.

In the past, I've seen a few people provide what the Circle A pricing would be if a VIN was provided. Anyone able to help out on this one:

VIN: KMTG34LE9MU066633

For sure. At least the knowledge of what Circle A pricing would be could be really helpful, too.

This may be helpful. I had no idea either...

I purchased a 2019 G70 Elite in July of last year for 32.6k$ + ttl, fee.
well that's a ridiculous price! Was there a firearm involved in the negotiations? I kid, good on you man, that's outrageously good negotiating.

That is helpful, thanks.

So far my negotiations with a number of dealers have been pretty unsuccessful. I expected as much with the 2021s, but I thought they would be more willing to work with me on 2020's. I probably just suck at negotiating!

Hopefully someone can help me out here...I have a couple questions for those of you who have used Circle A certificates or have knowledge of them:

  • When you presented the certificate with the included pin, did the dealer request anything from you proving your affiliation with the Company Name/provider of the certificate? Or, as long as you had the completed certificate with your name on it, you were good to go?
  • Does Circle A pricing only apply to purchasing the vehicle or does it apply towards a lease as well? I think I've read a number of experiences in here for both financing to buy and leasing, but wanted to make sure.
  • It looks Plan A pricing is only available for 2020 Genesis's right now, not 2021. Is that typical on new model years?

An another topic, advertised incentives right now aren't very impressive from what I can tell. From others experiences, would you expect better discounts on 2020's in upcoming months as more 2021's arrive?

Thanks for any responses! Really hope I can get into a G70 soon!

I used the Circle A in Mar. For a new purchase. Call ahead to the dealer and ask if they participate in program. After that, no other questions were asked of me how I obtained the certificate. 0 negotiations. Extremely smooth.

Thanks Trixie. Did you apply it towards a lease or purchase?

In people's experiences, if you know that there is $5000 of combined lease cash and dealer cash available, does the dealer typically give you all of that or is there an incentive for them to try and keep some and you've got to try to push for it?

What zip code does this

What Zip does this VIN belong too? If it’s on a dealers lot I might be able to find it and just screen shot the circle price. I can only search via Zip code and not VIN. I think the folks who can provide the certs can pull by VIN but that won’t be me.

Thanks for the offer. I actually was able to figure out a way to see the Circle A pricing on the car I was looking at.

I just put a deposit down on a 2021 G70 3.3T AWD in Havana Red. MSRP $49,900 knocked about $4K as I got $45,940 while taking the 0.9% financing for 60 months.

*Edit* I also am putting down $12k as my 2014 Chrysler 200 was totaled and taking the settlement to pay for into my new car. This is priced in Philadelphia area.

I'm looking at something very similar, but really want a 3.3t sport - what trim level was yours? Did you have any special pricing or other incentives applied? Also do you mind me asking what dealer this was? Would it be possible to post a picture of your sale sheet? I'm in western PA but looking around if I can find a good deal.

Seems like over the last few pages a few members posted about some awesome deals on 2020 3.3T AWD's: @G70-driver , @Wonkeun , @pulsar , @G-462201 (among others). If any of you (or others) are willing, I'd love to hear more details about your purchases like whether they were purchased or leased, what incentives you got, your approach to negotiating, was any sort of discount pricing applied like Circle A/Costco/other, or anything else you're willing to share. I've spoken to a number of dealers now looking at a 3.3t sport AWD (2020 and 2021) and the best I've been able to muster to date is:
  • 2020 lease - $49954-$3721 lease cash and 0.00071 MF (I have circle A pricing but there is $5500 lease cash which they're clearly not giving me and the low MF should be 0.00022 according to Edmunds)
  • 2021 lease - $49800-$2000 lease cash (No circle A pricing yet on 2021s and I believe there is only 2000 lease cash - honestly this isn't a bad deal but it doesn't scream "buy" to me).
I've been going the lease route because it looks like those incentives are better to me than purchase, but I'd be happy to lease or purchase for the better deal.

Any input or experiences are appreciated.
