  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis of Alexandria in Virginia has a Genesis G70 Havana red 3.3t elite AWD. I think they lowered the price to $41,000 but you can talk em down to under 40 possibly 38.

what's with this Puente Hills place? not even a Genesis dealer
They have an endless supply of very low mile 3.3's always red, usually cream interior. Bought one of these- 75 miles for $37,000 6 months ago and they have had 2 more since. Are these still those golf tournament promotionals?

I read an article about a bad batch of red paint. Genesis pulled them all back and repainted them so now there’s a ton of cheap reds out there. Read that months ago, so no reference, sorry.

They always seem to have a few, always red. Must have some inside contact.
My 3.3 T with 45 miles was $36,500. The car, including the red paint, has been great

They ain't budging on prices
I contacted a bunch of dealers in my 500 mile area over the last 4-5 months, explained I had Circle A pricing, made it clear I knew the exact incentives and was looking to do a quick internet deal, and I didn’t even have 1 offer me Circle A + all incentives for an easy sale... I put it on hold and am thankful I did because I’m currently work from home and it would be sitting in my driveway depreciating. Hopefully pick it back up later in 2021, but man, the dealer experiences have been bad so far.

Apparently Hyundai/Genesis dealers are TERRIBLE to work with; as are KIA. Surprisingly, the big 3 are more easy going - who would've thought?

It was a very long process to get the deal I wanted, but I managed with a lot of back and forth. My salesman gives me the stink eye every time I'm there for service... Probably because I had Circle A, wanted all incentives AND called them out on their BS money factor inflation. Not to mention, I switched to a car right off the trailer instead of one that's been sitting on their lot for god knows how long. The guy was a grumpy old man who very clearly had a problem with a 30 year old buying a top-trim G70, so I have no regrets. :ROFLMAO:

In my experience the cheaper the brand the harder it is to work with salespeople. Genesis in my area used to be attached to a very nice dealership, now it’s tucked away in the back with some makeshift building that no one visits. Salesguy claimed ignorance about incentives but seemed more like they were trying to charge me above msrp.....for a g70 that’s been on the lot for over a year....

I had a Circle A pin from one of the members here, good on a 2021 vehicle. I then found a 2020 at Fitzgerald in Rockville MD. Thanks @rllynch1 for the recommendation. I sent one email and heard from Tong Lui instantly. They had two 2020 Prestige models that fell under Circle O. $12k discount with zero haggling. $40,946 plus a $495 prep fee. I made the deal and we're driving it home now.

Black Rain Forest with the light interior. Beautiful combination!

They still have one black 2020 left. Somebody should grab it!

Congrats! Tong was my guy too - he’s such an easy person to get along with and made it the best car purchase I’ve made yet. I can’t say enough about him and the Fitzgerald team.

Fitz never talked to me.. that's annoying lol.

I'm of half mind to just wait until the refresh 2022's are released - there will have to be some discounts as body style and electronics changes would drive down the current body price (hopefully)

Nice, I bought with Circle A, Circle O? Cant seem to find info

Yeah what the hell is circle o

Circle O was described as Hyundai Employee Pricing that was being extended to customers to move out the last of the 2020 inventory.

I may still have a valid Circle A pin if someone wants to use it. I was told it expires at the end of December, but the description I saw somewhere is that it expires at the end of the month from when the certificate is generated using the pin. So, possibly still valid and it knocks $3500-$4500 off the MSRP. One dealer near me went about $1700 in addition to that, but it was a bit of a fight. At least one TrueCar dealers went to the same discount level without Circle A. They just emailed me a listing of their cars and discounts. So, there are easy options if the Circle A pin doesn't work.
