  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Potential Genesis Buyer

Leased my Genesis Ultimate in March of 15. Car has a lot going for it. Very nice Technology, Comfort of cabin is spectacular. Use of the controller is sweet. Never thought I would enjoy that piece of the car at all. However the ride of the car (flat spots) has ruined the experience completely. I had the Michelins put on about 1800 miles and nothing has changed. The first few miles of every drive is a completely unpleasant experience. My daily commute is only 9 miles of city streets. I feel everything for the first 3 or so miles. I'm convinced its not the tires but the car. I can't wait to get out of this car in the spring of 18. I would not buy nor lease this car ever again.

Have you complained to Hyundai Corp. Office ???
If not shame on you..............
"squeaky hinge gets oiled"

My car drives beautifully with original Hankook tires

You have an issue with the high performance tires not the car. You need tires that have no nylon in them. You need grand touring tires most likely that will suit your taste. I don't mind a few miles needed to warm up tire but as you stated you do mind. Get with a tire dealer to solve your problem.

Sorry to hear that Comp1. I have 13k miles on mine and have never had any type of flat spotting or car vibration issues. The only issue I have is a very faint vibration in the steering wheel when the ac is on.

Just my two cents: If you had your tires (known to have problems) replaced everything should be Ok (like the rest of us) UNLESS you have a poor balancing. This is fairly common...
