This last Saturday, January 9th 2021 my 2015 Genesis V8 Ultimate scared me like I never have been before.
While taking a turn (with some gusto) on a relatively empty highway at night, with two other cars passing by in the other lane, all systems shut off for half a second, came back up, went down for another 2 seconds, and came back up again. During these interludes power steering, and brakes went "mechanical", fuel flow ceased, and upon restoration the SatNav and information screens showed the Genesis logo as if the car had just been started.
Has anyone here experienced this before? I saw a few posts about older Genesis sedans doing this, but haven't seen any from my car's model.
Currently waiting for the local Hyundai dealership to pick it up, but I'd like to know if anyone here as encountered this and what the problem/fix was.
