  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Prada headlights

Hello guys!
So I did ordered LED AFLS ECU for my Genesis 2009. After installation I was trying to calibrate afls (actualy dealer was trying). With no luck - there was no signal from ECU. After that I found some info on the internet that I have to repin ECU connector. But I don't know exactly which wires to change.
I found few korean blogs about that but still don't understand how to repin ECU. If you guys have any info please share.
Info I have found:
One.
Two

I have finaly solve the problem
You don't need to rewire anything. If your car is 2009-2011, than you have to choose 2012-2013 car in scanner menu, 3.8 GDI. Than you will see many parameters. There are 2 AFLS points in the menu. Choose the second one (for LED). And than choose Download parameters. That's it. No you can calibrate ECU.

After calibration, do all 4 bulbs light up equally when engine is idling?

Old thread, but this is probably the best one for information regarding getting AFLS to work...couldn't find anything else with accurate information. Going to comment/subscribe for future reference if I ever get the desire to get some prada lights.

Had some questions...so is it a certainty that the AFLS module for the US spec HID headlights cannot be reprogrammed to work with the LEDs?

Second, how many different styles of KDM LED headlights are there? I seem to have read that there's a general version and a prada version: general version has silver bezels within the headlights and the Pradas have black bezels?...can anyone confirm this?

You need a different AFLS ECU module in order for the prada headlights to work. The new module learns from the speed your vehicle is going and it determines the light intensity that will be discharged. It is an expensive but worthy upgrade.

In regards to styles, I am not sure. I have not seen anyone that sells the prada headlights with black bezels.
