In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I have been shopping for a Genesis for sometime but have been in no hurry. Two cars just caught my attention.

1. 2015 3.8 AWD - Ultimate - Ibiza Blue - Asking $46,999 - Got them down to $41,000, but still seems to high

2. 2015 3.8 AWD - Ultimate - Black - 7500 miles - Demo - Have not gone in yet, but they are asking 40,000 which is way to high.

What are your thoughts on pricing for these two?? Thanks so much for any advice!!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Tell them that 7,500 miles cuts into your warranty and you deserve to get at least 1,500 off on top of the eplan pricing that they are hiding from you

try to get it for 14k off msrp. thats a deal.

I agree on the large discount off msrp. Look at a kbb value of a used Genesis with the same specs. 7500 miles isn't new anymore, who are they kidding trying to squeeze you for 40k.

and take 1500 to 2000 off for the one with 7000 miles.

Lol $41K for a 2015 3.8, mine is a brand new V8 with 40 miles on the ODO and it costs less.

$40K for a used 3.8, get the fack out of here. I would be weary of the stealership. Tread carefully man.

I would start at $35K out the door for the assumed new Ibiza blue 3.8. Depending on TTL that should put you in the ballpark of $31-32K selling price. Let them work with that number.

Is the blue one new? If not how many miles? I doubt you will get it for less if truly new, non ultimate v8s are the hard sell.

$40k for the demo is a joke but you already know that.

Despite the comments of a few folks in here - the pricing isn't that far off from market, actually. That being said....

How many miles on this one? If only a few & being sold as new - then that is actually a pretty good price. MSRP for the AWD Ultimate is 53k and change. This is the price that 10k mile CPOs were going for back in August.

Unless you have the Ultimate - your MSRP was also almost 3k less, too.

As it is an AWD Ultimate - he will never get that. Market for it right now is actually 40 to 42.8k if genuinely new.

I am planning to buy 2015 3.8 RWD - Signature and Tech Pkg - - Asking $39K - Got them down to $36K + tax and fees. can i do better. What other incentives can i ask them for.

what the fack ? hey learn how to spell. lol.

nothing against u, it's a reference to a certain spelling police on this forum.

ya 36k otd.

those go for 47k ya ? take 14k off of that.

33k plus tax and fees, 37 otd would be my target

Thanks for all the input.

1. The new Ibiza awd ultimate - waiting to hear back on better pricing for purchase, they would go lower if lease. Not interested.

2. Used/Demo Car- They would not budge, cross that one off the list.

I will keep searching!

Thanks for your reply. What are you basing 14k off on. Please give me some details.

So almost no miles on this? See my post above if so.

Bought a 2016 Ibiza Blue Ultimate last mo with 602 miles on it for $36,635 plus tax, lic and my first born. I thought it was a good deal.

When did you buy it and where?

Atlanta GA. It was a Super Bowl car.

My apologizes for the typo, it was $38,635.

Nice grab... I am guessing it is not an AWD?
