Problems with windshield and wipers

Valeo 900 Ultimate Series OE wipers. Make sure they are the 900-24-7B (DRIVERS SIDE) and 900-20-7B (PASSENGER SIDE), this makes sure they come with the correct attachment for our car.

Wanted to order these on Amazon but it said, this doesn't fit 2010 hyundai genesis???

I ordered these myself from Amazon. You'll find that they fit the 2009 so all is good! Great wipers, noise at driver's side top eliminated. :)

I'm getting a consistently clean wipe at all speeds. So far these blades are top notch and reasonably priced for how well they work. The blades have over 1500 pressure points that help keep them on your windshield and give a a superior wipe each time to date. I will report back on how well their holding up in about a week when I have around 1500 miles on them. So far though they're my #1 recommend blade. I'm in Florida with lots of rain, not sure how they will perform in snow etc...but they claim to be an all weather wiper blade.

I hope this helps some and I will report back soon with an update, best wishes :)

Do you have an update on the performance of these blades? I'm super interested, as well as my friend who has a 2006 4Runner:D

I can address this: after my OEM blades started streaking I got some Michelin Symphony's, which cleaned all right but produced a very loud thump on the driver's side at the top of each stroke. I replaced those with some Rain-X blades, which also cleaned acceptably but which also produced the same loud thump. Then I got some Valeo's, which were a lot less expensive than both Michelin and Rain-X, cleaned streak-free and are completely silent. I vote for Valeo! .:D

Sweet, thanks for the info:cool:, I'll spread the word to my friend.

Put on a set of the Valeo's on the Genesis a few weeks ago. Seriously amazing wipers. In fact, I ordered another set for my wifes Sonata and she really likes them also.

Don't spend the money on other brands. These were only like $35 with shipping from Amazon.

I have the same problem. Switched the blades and nothing. Still have the streaking gong on although the noise the wiper makes when it come all the way up has gone down drastically.

i noticed my windshield is scratched u pretty bad and i have rainX on there? wth? i even used griots garage glass polish and the 3" DA. nothing scratches still in the direction of the wiper blade's travel. i am going to mention this to my service manager next time in there.

Neither Amazon's nor Valeo's web sites show blades that are compatible with the '11 Genesis. I suspect that's an error, but I don't want to order them and find that they don't fit.

Has anyone replaced the blades on their '11 Genesis with Valeos?

Thanks.

I wouldn't go by Amazon's site due to its inaccuracy's. My friend ordered a set from Amazon that fit his vehicle great, but Amazon's guide says they didn't have a set that would fit. Same size for my Sonata also.

I have 2012 4.6 and ordered "Valeo 900-24-7B Ultimate Wiper Blade - 24" and "Valeo 900-20-7B Ultimate Wiper Blade - 20" from Amazon. They don't fit the car. Does it suppose to come with an adapter or I should order it separately somewhere?

If you can, take a picture of your wiper arm without a wiper on it. I'd like to see if the wiper has changed compared to the 2009-2011 MY.

Maybe your not attaching it correctly?? I say this because I bought a set of Michelin blades for my beater, and I thought they didn't fit, but after about 45 minutes of me getting ready to set fire to the new wipers, I somehow figured it out and got them on correctly.

TSB 09-BE-010 (attached here, if I did the attachment process right) covers the details on how to get your wiper arms to "stand up". It's posted on the TSB tab at www.hmaservice.com (requires establishing an account).

Thank You Very much - been trying to figure this out - the 2012 manual does NOT mention, anywhere (I searched the PDF version of the manual) how to do this.

Is the problem with the blade length, or with the adapter that connects the blade to the arm? It's been a while since I installed mine, but I recall that the package includes several different adapters for different styles of wiper arms. Mine work perfectly with the correct adapter.

Got my Valeo blades from Tire Rack; put them on yesterday in 5 minutes.

Here is the picture of the ones I got from Amazon. It's the one with squeezable latch release. It doesn't have hook arm lock or whatever it's called. The 2012 Genesis requires blade with hook arm. The installation on http://www.valeowipersusa.com/?q=installation-instructions/blade for Ultimate 900 series show different hook. So, did the package suppose to include an adapter or I got wrong blades?

The wipers you have are the correct ones. You need to place the new wiper underneath the wiper arm (at this point you've already removed the old wiper) and slide the wiper towards the driver side and push up until you see the two prongs go in past the metal flang on the wiper arm. you may also hear a click, which is a good sign. The picture on the left is of the passenger wiper and I have the wiper just to the point of where it will click up and in the correct spot and be on correctly.

I'm, apparently, not having a good day :-)
So, I have removed existing wiper. The wiper arm features a hook (as in the image). How do you exactly fit valeo with latch over hook arm?

This probably is not very helpful, but I recall that - with the correct adapter connected to the blade - it slips right onto the hook and snaps right into place. Look for the adapter that slides into the hook on the arm. If you can't find one, maybe it was omitted from the package?

You have completely different wiper arm ends than mine. Interesting. Typically there is a few adapters as mentioned in previous threads that should fit onto the arm or blade and then they should snap on. If you do not have an adapter that fits, contact Valeo. Also, make sure to read and follow the instructions on the package.

Good luck:)
