Picked up my Black on Black 4.6 today. It was the first, and maybe only, V8 in the greater Nashville area. Had a deposit and received 1st call.

No trade, cash and financed $18,000 at .90% for 24 months = $169.00 interest.

Gencat: Congratulations on your Genesis. I personally had one of the first if not the first in Miami in Black/Sdl with Tech. pckg., and could not love the car more. I did the Wing emblem on the trunk, White LED lights for the license plate bay, the Wing hubcaps and tints.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

In my original post I omitted it has the Tech Pack. I ordered it on August 20th ... but it was probably luck my color was the one to come in. They had several persons waiting for the V8 but I had a cash deposit and got the 1st phone call.

Have ordered the rear Wing.

Soon as I get more miles than 61 on it I'll report on my likes. So far so good. I have already realized that if one doesn't watch themselves it will run out from under you hitting 80mph before one knows it.

Up to this point in my life I've had about 10 new loaded Lincolns - mostly Towncars. The Genesis is entirely a different animal.

Congrats on the Black/Saddle combo. Is the premium Saddle in the V8 a bit darker than the V6 Saddle? Are you happy with the combo? Any comments from folks who see it? Last question-Do the seats match the dash? This remains a struggle for me as the Black/Saddle combo seems to be hard to find at this point. I think it should have a "richer" feel than the black. However I have been unable to find a single saddle in the whole state of NJ to see live.

I have the same questions on the black/saddle combination on a V-8. I know black/black would be fine, but I also think the black/saddle would look richer. I'm curious what the interior would look like and how many black interior appointments there are. If there are opinions and pictures out there I sure would like hearing from you!

Did you get the .9% from a Hyundai program, your bank, or the dealership? Just this past weekend the local dealer in FL. told me they had no programs at this time.

You have been extremely helpful in many of the threads! Thanks for all your input! Any chance you guys have a blk/cashmere 4.6 wth tech pkg in the pipe line due in the next few months? I am getting frustrated with all the "mis-information" from the west coast dealers down here in south fl. Heck maybe GA has a Hyundai promo going on in the next few months!

Hyundai Finance. The .9% is regional. Go to the Hyundai America site, under Financing, Specials, put in your purchasing zip code and they will give any finance/lease specials.
