You can call me OhSeoBang Just wanted to drop an introduction here! I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 5.0 R-Spec. If anyone has any questions they want to ask me (or my car!), feel free to do so.

What is the build date on your car?

It is indicated on the inside frame of the driver's side door.

I actually really like it! I still have the Hyundai badge on the back. I'm looking at getting a winged badge soon! The car is much quieter than my old car (1999 Nissan Maxima) which is always good

I'll check my oil level tomorrow morning ^^ car has had about 1000 kilometers since last oil change.

I believe the oil consumption problems stopped with engines built after Jan. Feb. of 2012. The engine build date may not be the same as the vehicle assembly but I would bet you will be ok.

Thanks Griff I'll take a look at the engine oil level when I get the car back from the dealership
