  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Purchase Details so we all can prosper!

WOW, just checked out the website for First Team Hyundai in Roanoak Virginia and they have some awesome prices compared to my neck of the woods. It would be worth my while to hope on a plane and make my purchase up there if I can't get a local dealer to match those prices.

Link to site:

You would need to add a minimum of $1600 to that price and maybe more. The devil is in the details!!

My brother purchase a blk/blk with premium and tech packages for $36000 including EVERYTHING (taxes - doc - some kind of paint/rock protection)
Tameron Hyundai in B'ham, Al and the dealer delivered it to Mobile. His is nicer than my base model

Is that fair? - the dealer was happy and it did include some rebates in Aug and my brother is very happy

$36k out the door for an R-Spec?

I paid $37.2k for my brand new R-spec 6 months ago. Could have been $36.7k had I used motozuma lol

Haven't quite sealed the deal but the #'s are final, having some electrical issues with my current Genny so I think it's time for her to go. Got them down to $33,298 OTD for 2013 3.8 Tech + Premium. Trading in my 2010 which they are giving me 18.5k for so total difference is $14,800.

Our region has a $1500 Car Show rebate which runs through the 9th + got the customer loyalty rebate of $1500, bonus cash of $1000 which ended today and military discount of $500.

Was planning on holding out for the 2015's but can afford to have problems that are out of warranty on a lot of stupidly expensive parts.

I'm in the new car already and almost 100% sure this is the route I wanna go, my car is worth the most on trade it ever will be so even though not exactly what I wanted to have happen the deal is still pretty sweet.

What a deal you got there.

I'm having trouble dealing with the price here in SoCal. No dealer will go lower than $32K for PREMIUM PACKAGE only!

Just used TruCar.com yesterday to get some quotes, and this is the lowest quote I got as well for one with Premium package.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
From what we see on the forums. That is a good combo drove train. Not so much for the electronics. Too bad they did not offer a base model with the 4.6. Likely the most reliable combination.

Agreed. I have <25k miles on my car and have had NUMEROUS electrical parts failures on the car.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. I have a white 2010 4.6 w/tech, saddle int. With 37k on the odo, the car still performs like new. Have not had any electronic issues mentioned by others, so I count my blessings!

2011 Genesis 4.6 - Tech Package CPO
50K miles

$20615

As a former 'I'll only ever own a BMW' guy, happy to be a part of the Genesis crowd.

Congrats on the purchase. I bought mine last week and took it on a 9 hour road trip. I love this car...

Forgive the intrusion but I wanted to point out that Hyundai Canada is offering $11,000 off the Genesis sedan for cash purchases. Not sure if they mean all models or just one of the higher R-Spec models. Anyone taken it?

I am currently working on completing a deal on a 2012 White Sedan with Tech/Premium package with 37k miles that has been Hyundai CPO'd. A little higher miles than I originally wanted but the Hyundai CPO warranty made it a little easier to digest.

Paid $22,200 + $249 doc fees and my state tax which is 3%. I think I did well, it was a private owner trade in that purchased a new Hyundai. Hopefully I will take delivery next week, I am upgrading from a 2006 Lexus IS350 that rattled more than a 90's Pontiac.

That sounds very similar to my deal (which I felt really good about) and you got a better deal! Congrats!
