  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Purchase Details so we all can prosper!

That sounds very similar to my deal (which I felt really good about) and you got a better deal! Congrats!

Forgot to add mine is a 3.8 or what I hope is soon to be mine. I bought out of state so I am having it shipped. I generally fly and drive them home but with my wife due in 2 weeks its not worth the risk getting stranded somewhere.

I picked up a 2013 Genesis 3.8 sedan with Premium package at a dealer in Fremont (CA) for just under $31,700 (includes about $250 in accessories, which I probably would have bought anyway). There may be better deals out there now, but if you're interested you should start looking for the color/options that you want. I doubt the dealers are taking on more cars.

The dealer advertised some loss leaders and ended up selling me a Premium package car at the LL price with a small discount to list on the option. Part of the pricing included lots of factory-dealer incentives plus a factory-customer incentive of $2500 that I signed over.

Good hunting. If I were doing it now, I'd be very, very aggressive and negotiate for a loaded 3.8 for around $33,500. I think that deal is out there.

Just Purchased my 2013 Night Shadow Brown 3.8 with Premium for 31500.00 out the door. Bought in December. Probably could have waited a little longer and saved another 500 to 1000.

So Sluggo and kfrog, you were able to get those at about $6,000 under invoice? These were totally new (not demos)? Sounds like great deals.

Hello Fellow Genesis owners, I am a new member here. I just bought my 2011 GENESIS 3.8L Sedan with Premium/Tech pkg CPO for $25,000 OTD. Also, added $1500 for Hyundai platinum extended warranty. Hope this vehicle never disappoints me.

Just bought 2013 R-Spec Feb 1st 2014 for $37K + TTL in California.

2009 Gene 4.6L Platinum on Black with 70K on it.

One owner, meticulously kept with only one scratch on the lower front left bumper guard about 1" long. Changed the oil right away, after 500 miles it is still golden in color. Rear differential was clean too!

Paid $14,000
Purchased on January 22nd, 2014

My 2012 3.8L Tech package finally made its voyage to my house.

Car is loaded original 44k sticker.

Paid $22,200 + my local taxes, car has 37k miles but it is also Certified. Love the car so far and the White is beautiful, so glad I chose it over the Grays or Black.

Mine had 4 miles on it. I don't know if the advertised VINs were demos, but they gave me a new car at the price. Had I been ex-military and a current Hyundai owner, I would have been able to get a base 2013 3.8 for $25,991. Add a premium package and you're still out for under $30k. This was at Hanlee's in Fremont. They also had a new 2012 4.6 still on the lot, lol.

I thought it was a rare, exceptional price. Since then, though, I've seen some other dealers in the area come close to it.

Still very happy with the car and the price. :)

Sluggo,
Do you have any idea what they wanted for the 2012 4.6?
There a few leftovers in my area that they are adveratising for 33K.

I don't recall the sticker price and I didn't ask what they would take for it, sorry. I suppose you could always call and see if they still have it. Hanlee's in Fremont, CA.

Mine Had a MSRP of 40K on it. I am now seeing them for around 28k. Yes mine was new and not a demo.

Posting this from the dealership, w/Papers signed. She is getting a bath, then escorting me home.

2013 3.8 White Sedan w/Premium Pkg.
Miles: 15,800 miles.

Original purchase date May 2013. (warranty started)

Sale Price: 24,495 + TTL (1,500 - Dallas, TX).

Edmunds says retail is $28,800ish if I've configured it properly.

I feel like this is an exceptional deal. Technically I can still cancel, but I don't see any reason why I'd want to.

That is an awesome deal. Good job. Was that the advertised price or did you haggle the price down?

I recently (2/4/14) purchased an used 2013 Pear White base model with 26K for $21,000. It's a Certified Pre-owned which gives 10ye/100K factory warranty on Powertrain. (and some other benefits). White Genesis are hard to come by so I jumped on the deal.

The price includes $500 cash Hyundai throws in for getting a loan from them. 5 year at 1.9%. As, part of the deal, I had the dealer install set of genesis emblem as part of the deal. This is in Northern Cali.

I got mine from Norcal too(base model) Any plans of installing aftermarket navigation?

When you say installing aftermarket Navigation, are you saying getting portable GPS or installing a permanent Nav into Dash? I did not know there were option to install Nav into the system.

Permanent nav in dash. Like the unavi X5 nagivation system. It even comes with back up cam.
