Question - Accuracy of the Hyundai Genesis Brochure

Was by my local (TN) Hyundai dealer and he was still waiting for his 3 cars. In the brochure I picked up none of the dash pictures appeared as those posted by users on this site; nor, do the brochure pictures appear as the saddle leather wrapped dash as shown on the Hyundai Gallery site.

If you've seen the actual Genesis and brochure ... is the brochure accurate?

The brochure seems quite accurate from what I can tell. I certainly can't tell you if some of the numbers are correct, but based on the Genesis I've seen at the dealer and the pictures in the brochure everything looks correct. Aside from the base V6 which gets wood, the Cashmere (Beige) interior has Black leather stitched dash & door trim, the Black interior has Saddle leather stitched dash & door trim, and the Saddle (Brown) interior has Saddle leather stitched dash& door trim.

I don't fully understand you're saying in your post (sorry if I'm dense). What do you find different in the brochure compared to pics you've seen here?

Thanks for clearing it up for me, jwaters. The brochure shows two interior pics both Cashmere. Evidently one is the base V6 with wood and the other has a tech package with black dash.

Interesting. I just checked the Cashmere again today, and it definitely has a dark brown dash and dark brown stitched leather. Was sitting right next to a black interior car and the cashmere was unmistakably brown. Disappointing for me.

I received a "V-8" brochure which shows a black interior with black stitched leather dash, which I have yet to see, but makes me wonder/hope that the V-8 actually has this as it looks great in the pic. Would also be great if the Cashmere in the V-8 has a black dash.

Jwaters, I had told this dealer about your badge modification last time I was in, and he said he had ten on order and was going to put them on, he even said he was looking into getting the genesis wing steering wheel. Since he is offering a 5000.00 "Market Adjustment" on his tech packages, I can hardly wait to see the cost of the genesis wing.

I have a feeling quite a few dealers will be adding these badges at a nice profit.

Thanks for sharing your impressions on the Cashmere. I will have to look at it again. Looking at some other pics it does seem like the dash top/trim is more of a dark brownish grey than an outright brown. Is that your impression as well?

unforunately no, just dark brown.
