  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

 Has anyone figured out how to stop the popup on the navigation screen listing the previous destinations?

When I start the navigation system an automatic popup comes up listing the previous destinations and I can't seem to find a setting to elect for that popup not to show. I resorted to deleting all my previous destinations as a work-around but I'd like to permanently shut off this feature if possible. Thanks!!

HaHaHa, now it begins. The first official '15 Genesis "problem." ,-)

I don't know that it's a problem yet...just can't seem to find it in the owner's manual so I thought I'd ask. :-)

On the previous gen it would default to the last screen type used. I assume you were simply on a map with no guided directions going when you shut here down?

Speaking of systems, one thing I love on the previous gen was the simplicity of making a phone call without all the annoying prompts and confirmations. I simply push the listen button and say call home. Does this still work the same way?

That is correct, I was on a map with no guided directions going when I shut the car down. In the case where I would have shut it down during guidance, I'm not certain why a pop up would come up with a list of previous destinations so it's still somewhat of a mystery to me.

Regarding your question about prompts...yes, it's one of the first options I changed. There are 3 levels to choose from: Full Detail, Detail and Expert Mode. When you choose expert mode, most all prompting disappears.

Hope that helps!
