They are in IL so hopefully we have a member willing to loan a car.

They are about 45 min. drive from my Home. I wouldn't mind to get there and spend all day at their Shop and let them run some tests, but leaving my car alone? ....tsk tsk, not really

Our tuner has the Genesis Sedans on the list for the ECU's to work on

We are first looking to complete testing in Korea first then we'll move to tune the US versions as well.
we are working on it so hopefully we can have some good news for everyone this year

My coupe has previously been dyno-tuned by Jay of SFR so I recently asked him about the tuning possibility of our engines and his response was...
"We can sure do that too... Yet again we do all the testings in house @ SFR USA.
I actually got contacted by few locals recently and it's just matter of time."
The question now remains as when is the matter of time. I will see if I can personally meet him again in the near future at a local tuning event (for the coupe sibling, of course) and push him again in this matter. At the very least there is a hope.

im interested in some more info of that picture they have under genesis sedan performance section. pic shows a turbo on a genesis sedan but no info....interesting

yes, Jay owns a shop in West Chester, PA just west of Philly and he also has an in-house dynometer so he is very capable of tuning anything he feels like.
Jay has tuned my coupe twice and I'm very impressed with the results.
I have no doubt he can tune the 3.8 GDI engine as he has done that for the coupe clans.
As for the 4.6 or 5.0, I'm not sure but Jay has in-sight connections in S Korea where he annually goes back to for family and others.
Someone or myself may open a new thread in this forum gauging interests among us sedan owners and if there is enough in return I'm sure Jay will push forward from making this a reality.
Guys, I can't wait for this to happen to our cars because from my previous experience with the coupe was just phenomenal.
The coupe drives like a totally different beast after the custome tune.

as stated before, just waiting to know who to write the check to. car has enough power to light up the 275's in the rear. kill the nanny and keep both wheels smoking with the 5.0 and im happy. anything else is gravy
