  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

R-Spec Wheels, Tires, and TPM's

I like them a lot! I am nearing 30,000 on my 2011 4.6. Still have good life left and not in a hurry. Thought I would get different rims/tires when the time came. Love your new set on your R spec. I bet you buy mud flaps to keep all the grit from splashing your doors and sills??? My stock set up always slings water or tire cleaning products along my doors and rocker panels always encouraging me to get the wheel guards....but I am still holding out. Can't believe you still have the wheels. I might take them. Checking shipping now.

Driv200,
Thanks, standing by. I'm told that the rocker panels on the 2012s are different than earlier years so no mud guards are available.

For what it's worth, these are still for sale. Price and shipping remain same.

Been a month since the last post, but, are these still available? If so, has the price come down any? Thanks

They are still available. No, the price will not come down. Folks seem to forget that these are a complete package, wheels, tires, center hubs, TPMs, mounted and balanced and ready to bolt on. Thanks for the interest.

What rims/tires do you have on currently?

I don't think people forget all that you quoted, I feel for myself, that I can buy a brand new packaged wheel and tire set for what you are listing a used set for. Granted they are not OEM, or R-Spec wheels. I'm not complaining about the price, I think you are justified in asking whatever you want to ask for them. I guess, you will hold out for full asking price, good for you. In a month or two, if you still have the wheels, I'm sure I'll ask you again. And, I am sure you are tired of people trying to get the price down.

Chadsme,
For what it's worth, I traded a Sonata for the Genesis that I had put after market wheels on and sold the OEM's. Because the dealer could not certify the car with the after market wheels I took a considerable hit in it's trade in value. I'm certain I'll have the same problem again when I trade the Genesis. Consequently, that's why I'm sticking with my price. I realize many consider my price too high. However, as you implied, when they put the entire package together, mounting and balancing etc., they'd be surprised how items add up.Perhaps things have changed but I had to pay $350. not too long ago for genuine Hyundai TPMs (4).

Parnelli,
Thanks much but I'm sticking with the 2K plus shipping. The entire shipment will weigh about 250 lbs. About a year ago I shipped some BMW wheels and mounted tires to New Zealand. I did it properly, used my 75% discount on Fed Ex and they arrived in one piece and undamaged. However, it was a huge hassle unfortunately. I'm wondering if putting these wheels and tires strapped on to a pallet would be the way to go? Regardless, it takes time and money to do it properly.
