  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011 v-8 genesis ...not sure if it's my imagination, the settings are correct and the volume on my radio doesn't seem to adjust to speed levels and even stopping. Have other drivers found this, or should i be bringing the car in for service

If radio volume is designed to change with the speed of the car it's news to me. Mine doesn't. The whole concept sounds fishy to me - since both the audio content and the ambient car noise are both randomly variable, what algorithm would allow the radio to change volume in any useful way? What if you're listening to a quiet passage of music and the radio decides it needs to be louder and then a sudden fortissimo occurs - do you get your eardrums perforated?

It does change with how fast you drive. It is very slight.... only noticable on certain levels. There was a thread about this a while ago..

I agree with Ashdump. I have noticed a very slight change in volume as I slow down / speed up. I don't think there is any way to adjust the settings.

I haven't noticed this "feature" but my 99 tahoe had it, there was a control knob for it, (and it needed it due to wind noise)...
