  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

real boost range

I like how the a/f just drops as soon as it makes boost and power lol, classy then pikes back up :)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
hell i like the 261rwtq that would be awesome to have lol

thats not all the turbo. alot of that is boost bleed from the crappy stock bov

In that last dyno run, the stock wastegate actuator solenoid is at 100% DC, so that's all she wrote with that. If the BOV is leaking/bleeding, that's not something we can control, but I will look into it...if there's more to be had, I'd love to try. :)

Still working on this one. It really likes boost. Still peters out on the top, but there is more to be had in the midrange. It's still on the dyno. :) Also remember this is a BONE STOCK car - stock intake, exhaust, BOV, boost control solenoid, etc.

look at that Torque! but is this all from u turning up the boost only?

Did u guys install a boost guage in ur Genesis and if u did, where did u endup putting it? Because I'm trying to figure where to install this important peice.

Not in the car, no. We were using an analog boost sensor built into the dyno.

damn, it would be nice if someone can find a place to put it because I can't, unless I start drilling holes and I don't see that happening.

ive read through this thread and its pretty interesting so far. i just bought a 2011 with the 2.0 and want to crank up the boost. it seems like the limit for the stock injectors/turbo is about 17 Psi. is this correct?
