  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Rear bumper guard

Clear would be better than charcoal gray.

Any time I've ever had any sort of sticky thing on bumper caps I've regretted it later. The glue can seriously damage the paint should you ever have to remove them.
My vote would be to just keep washing the bumper instead, live with the dust and grit, just wash it

When I had Ventureshield applied to the front of my car, I had them put a strip on the trunk sill on top of the bumper. It's invisible and protects against dings caused by moving things in and out of the trunk.

Has any body gotten this?

On my white 4.6, it seems dirt settles on this area and I wonder if the bumber guard "decal" would be benefitial.

The film is used to protect the bumper from marring when loading and unloading items. What the film wont do it make the bumper less prone to dirt accumulation. Personally, I think it's pretty useless unless you live with careless people who will scratch your car.

....or have a kid that pulls his bat bag out of your trunk....anyone find a better product?
