Rear deck spoiler - anyone seen a good design?

So CarID was your source of the roof spoiler? I like the way yours looks but I've seen others and I'm not sure which one is what.... Thanks.

I really like the spoiler that koreaimports has, its different then the one that is a lip. I'm afraid to put it on and drive by flyboy. He will make fun of me the whole time, call me a "BWM wanna be"...could get ugly.

Ashdump- It was from a Korean company and it cost about $180 to $220 painted and all ready to go. If I find the site I will post it. A friend and I put it on in about 15 min.

Bought the same one.......goes on real easy with the 3M tape

Thanks Matt Z, you are absolutely correct, I received mine on Friday. Came with perfect color match and installation was a breeze. I did however go by the install instructions and used a thick bead of silicone in the center area with the 3M tape surrounding it. This did cause a little trouble well clean up wise due to fact I soaked the trunk and 3M tape surface heavy with water in case I needed to move it a little. (Thankfully So) because I did need to tweak it a little. The silicone not being dry leaked out like thin white water but I managed to get it all cleaned up with no problem. End result is a great looking low profile spoiler that really sets the car off.

I think that you have to decide what you like! I bought the lip spoiler from CARID and I prefer that look because I've seen larger versions in person. Before I could consider the Korean Import spoiler I would have to see it close up.

I like a smaller lip spoiler... like the one from CarID.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm so freaking torn. The smaller lip actually looks a bit more classy while the bigger one I think adds a more sporty look.

I agree with Bob - I personally don't think any of these spoilers enhance the appearance of the car, but to each his own.

Wondering how your Spec-1 spoiler is holding up? I got one in last week and one of the corners was crushed/broken off. 4 body shops I have taken it to said they can not fix it. Not sure if I want to go through the hassle of dealing with the post office, shipping it back to korea and waiting another 1 month to get a new one. I was concerned that the fiberglass would chip and crack over time. Makes me kind of want to go to a plastic one instead of fiberglass. Thanks for any info. Kym
