Rear Shock Replacement

Dealer will be replacing left rear shock tomorrow. I assume replacing a shock will not affect rear wheel alignment. Can anyone confirm?
 
Brad Benson Hyundai in NJ replaced the shock and steering wheel limit switch. Even provided me with an '11 4.6 as loaner. No alignment was necessary.
 
What is the story? Why do you need a rear shock?

Slight squeak going over speed bumps that was annoying. Claimed the shock was rubbing against the stop.
 
Thanks for the answer. Did Hyundai correct the issue?

So far so good but time will tell.
 
Now having squeak from right rears suspension. Likely same issue as left side but pia to have go through process again.
