Rear spoiler?

Has anyone installed a rear spoiler on the 2015 Genesis Sedan? Will you share information - where did you buy the spoiler, approximate cost of part and installation, has the spoiler helped alleviate some of the problem of dirt collecting on the rear of the vehicle, & can you post photos please. I know Hyundai offers a spoiler for the coupe, but I have been unable to find one for the sedan. All answers appreciated.

I can't comment on the spoiler, but regarding the rear of the vehicle, yeah it does get dirty quickly. The factory mudguards help a bit for the rear quarter panels, but not a ton.

Totally agree with the dirt on the rear step below the trunk. I think it is in the design. That surface is flat (parallel to the ground) and does not allow the water to run off of it. The need to add a slight slope to the surface to alleviate the water from resting on it.

I am interested to hear how the spoiler works. Sorry I have yet seen the spoiler as an option anywhere (yet). Please keep us posted.

No install, just did a search for you and found it.

I saw one at a dealership here in Dallas, it was on a car on the lot. You might check with your dealer.

It's hard to tell how that spoiler looks. It would be nice to see some more screenshots (like side-view of the whole car) and see the spoiler in the same body-color as the car.

Not so sure about a rear spoiler on this car. The cars shape and flowing lines as it reaches the end of the trunk may make the addition of a spoiler jarring. Some cars are made for them and some are not - I suspect the Genesis lines may make it look out of place.

I emailed the seller from eBay about pics of the White Genesis with the spoiler from further away and a side profile view. Will post once they send me the pic.

I agree ! And the fact that it will affect how the trunk lid will open all the way up when you use anything to open it automatically.

That is one nasty looking Genesis. Would never have thought that look would have worked but that's a really nice looking car and the roof spoiler looks like it should be there. Probably would only work well visually on a black or white car.
