  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have to readjust the mirror quite often back up into position. It doesn't stay in one place. I will check to see it there is a tensioning screw on it.

No problems with the rear view mirror not holding it's position in mine.

Agree with Nikgen - very firm. My wife was afraid to adjust it in the beginning because she thought it would break.

I agree, it is hard to move. Just checked it at lunch and it has move about 1/2 the field of view. I will check this weekend to see if there is a set screw I can tighten.

I have the same issue. The mirror keeps sagging, and I need to adjust it higher every couple of days.

hmmm.... I too have been adjusting my mirror up a lot lately... thought it was just me sitting up straighter or something... have to keep an eye on it.

mine stays in position...but it rattles. If I hold the mirror and shaft...it does not

Neither my 2015 nor my 2016 had any issues with the mirror sagging - take it in and have it replaced!

I suspected mine of doing the same thing. I have the memory seats. Check to make sure your drivers side seat is moving to the correct position when you start your car. I noticed mine was not, not sure why. To confirm it's in the correct position hit memory setting 1 or 2 and see if it moves to the correct position. Now when I start the car and think the rear view mirror needs adjusting I press the memory button to confirm the seat is where it should be, seams to be working.

Still have the issue. I just reach up and adjust it as needed.

My 2012 was always falling down. Haven't noticed it on the 2016

Mine is what i would describe as "wobbly", but stays in place, just seems a little too loose compared to other cars I've had. I will probably mention it to the dealer during my first service along with my slightly rattling panorama roof.

mine is just like yours... same symptoms

See your dealer. Other posts have reported that there is a fix for this.
