Just bought a 2010 4.6 and need good all weather car mats to keep the slop off the carpets--any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
I have used Weather Tech in four vehicles. They are a little pricey but do a great job of protecting carpets.
The real issue with Weather Tech is that you have to trim them to get a proper fit. For the money I would expect a mat to properly fit. Same issue with the trunk liner they sell which is too small.
Buy some aftermarket at an auto-parts store.

I like the Hexomat trunk liner - I've used them in several cars in the past. They are great for trips to the nursery - mulch, topsoil, plants in pots, any messy stuff. In any case, with most trunk liners you'll still have stuff sliding around unless you secure it.Question concerning the "cargo liner"
1. When you have stuffed in the trunk like luggage, golf bags, etc....does is stay in place or will stuff slide all around. It looks to be a slippery surface.
2. If you think one is a good purchase...would the dealer be the best place to purchase one for a 2011?
Thanks.
That's odd - I've had 3 sets of Hexomats and never experienced any odor at all.I had the Hexomats for the front and rear of my 2011 4.6, but had to get rid of them. They smelled terrible. I aired them out and the company even sent me some spray to put on them, but that only temporarily covered the smell.
It seems as if the mats had been sprayed by a skunk. Aside from the odor, the mats fit well, looked good and kept the dirt and grime off the carpet.
I will be replacing with the Hyundai mats.
