- I agree with most all above from DAYTA. You do need to pause a second or 2 in between the 1st and 2nd pressing of the lock.Nothing significant, just a few minor issues:
The one thing I do wish is that the auto unlock feature had an option to open all doors (vs driver only). However, I have experienced zero issues that are deal breakers...in fact, the first one should most likely be considered "user error". Overall, very happy with the module!
- Remote start requires you to press the "Lock" button on the keyfob twice, but with a pause in between presses. On occasion, I won't pause for long enough to get it to work properly - but 9 times out of 10, it works perfectly fine.
- Once the car is started remotely, it does happen on occasion where the auto unlock functionality doesn't sync up. In those instances, I have to revert back to manually unlock the car using the button on the door handle...like a peasant
.
- I think my car unlocks all doors upon approach, so it might the same as the 2-press unlock feature in your user settings. When remotely started, my car never auto unlocks, so I just hit the button, like a peasant. LOL.
- Install is pretty easy, but tucking the module out of the way was a little be of a PITA.
- An issue that I had, maybe have, is when the temp is around, or below ZERO (very cold), I had to try 2 or 3 times, before it started. Otherwise works great. Blue LInk is great but about $200.00 a year, so I tried the mykey and I feel it's worth the money.
