Removing chrome strips on sides of genesis?

Anyone do this before? Am thinking it will make my genesis look lower and better.. Just put on some Roderick Rw3 19" staggered wheels.. If anyone has done this woul love to see some pics.. Especially if you have a black genesis.. Thnks!

Been trying to put pics on here through using my iphone but always tells me that pics are too large. Anyone try to use their iphone to add pics.. I only use my iphone to access this website as i dont have computer at home

Are these side strips put on with tape/glue only or is there gonna be holes because of snaps?

The thread below covers most of what folks need to know about our side trim. It's easy to buy and then install chrome OEM trim. Good luck finding body colored OEM trim. Not so easy. Maybe somebody here will sell you their black trim. Put an ad in the wanted section. Then you'll just have to add fresh 3M tape. Anyone here converting to chrome trim will be happy to sell you their old trim. I just tossed mine in the trash can when I installed chrome, but probably should have advertised it here.

My advice is to leave well enough alone and enjoy the chrome colored plastic trim. It gives my car the luxury look that I am seeking.

I use an app called Tapatalk to access this and other forums on my iPhone. I don't have it with me, but one of its features is the ability to post images from your photo album to forums. Version 1.x is $2.99 on the iTunes app store.
