  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If I buy a Genesis sedan with the wood grain interior trim pieces can I replace them with the all black ones?

Does the dealer or an aftermarket company sell them and if so how much?

Thanks.

That ain't gonna be cheap. You're probably better off with an aftermarket trim kit. Like this:

Couldn't tell you what they look like. Though... the OEM ones are plastic, so they can't be much different than that.

If you do buy a base Genesis, I'd suggest you try to find a glare-free surface for those dash trim pieces. There are several aftermarket suppliers to be found on the web. During several test drives, I found those shiny
dash bits to be very annoying and distracting. That was just one reason I stepped up the Premium package with the leather dash.

I'm interested in replacing the wood pieces with the black pieces as well. The fake wood just looks cheap to me.
