replacement windshield

sticker shock. This more of an FYI to all. I have always had 100% glass relacement on my cars EXCEPT this time. A rock hit the windshield requiring replacement. The cost of the windshield installed is $1190 installed. I had $1000 deductible. I called the insurance company, Amica, to make the change to 100% glass coverage for a grand total for 2 vehicles of $123 per year!!!! Shame on me. I am using my dealer.

I feel your pain. Just had to replace the windshield on my 2015 Genesis for $1390 CAD. Luckily I have only a $300 deductible for glass.
