  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Reported Issues with the Genesis GV60

Oh don't get me started on the Enel X app. The old one was bad but the new one is 10 times worse. I hate it. I can almost never get 100% charge and they swapped out the box already. As for Android auto, I use the Motorola MA1 with my old S22+ now S23+ and no issues at all. Takes a few seconds but no need to mess with cables and no issues with blank screens
I spent an hour on the phone with Enel yesterday... It's baffling, why they would roll out the product that doesn't work?! Nothing works, not one feature, except TOU, but have to check every time if the car is being charged, since no notifications are coming through to my flip4. Same goes to genesis app. Before I was inundated by useless calendar warnings, now it's a complete silence. Deleting- reinstalling- toggling the switch- nothing! Connected services has no clue, ticket is open for two weeks now

Anyone having sounds on their steering column? Our Ioniq 5 has it slightly, and I can hear it on the GV60. Their is a TSB on the I-5.
Yes, I noticed a vibration the fourth Time I drove the car on the 15N. Then I touched it and gave it a lift and it stopped. I Haven’t heard it since then.

This sounds like a second legitimate reason for Genesis to look into this VERY seriously and do a recall if warranted. This is a very dangerous malfunction. I would encourage Looney100 and Claris to contact Genesis immediately, if not already done so.
I brought the car in today. Of course they couldn’t replicate it. But the problem has been logged into the system. Hopefully it never happens again.

I have had my GV60 for 2 months now. A week ago, it began having an intermittent issue with ONLY the Driver's side Seat Cooler/Heater rocker button. Sometimes it just doesn't rock back automatically, I have to push it to the opposite side. I have not spilled anything. Has anyone else had this issue? It's odd that it's intermittent. One would think if it was a hardware issue, it would either work all the time or not. Any thoughts?

Had our GV60 for a couple months now and both switches do that all the time when the car is cold. Once things (the console area?) warm up after about 15 minutes then they work fine. I took a short video of the issue and sent it to the dealer. I said it wasn't worth a service call now as the switches do work if you push the opposite side to get it back to the neutral position.

Same issue here on the passenger switch.

Similar issue here with both the driver and passenger switches.

Seems to happen only when the car has been sitting in below freezing temps (of course when you need the heated seats the most). As our car is normally garaged, we don't see the issue often.

When you try to turn on the heat function, that side of the button won't go down as it normally does. If you push the other side of the button (for ventilating) down first, the ventilating feature appears to start as it should, but if you then try to push the heat side of the button down, the three heat indicators light will flash twice and then shut off.

As you mentioned the problem seems to go away as the interior of the cars warms up, although the last time we experienced this it took more like 45 minutes (versus 15 minutes) for the problem to go away.

Have not had the dealer look at the issue yet.

Smart support option for seat doesn't work.
Regen option resets each time to level 3 instead of staying eg in one pedal
Seemingly randomly, the database of EV chargers won't work and none will show up

For whatever reason, I think this was deliberate. I agree it is annoying. Once we put the car in a particular setting (sport, regen, etc.) it should stay that way until changed by the owner.

Don't understand why it would be. Every other EV ex-HKG can keep car in one-pedal driving mode. In any case it's less annoying than the smart support seat option, which a year after launch is still broken.

Anyone have "unwanted" operation of the "touchpad" controller on the right of the steering wheel?

I've had it jump tracks or change radio station a few times when my hand is on the edge - I've thought it's maybe a sleeve catching it, but as the weather warms and I'm in a T-shirt, it still happens too many times to be "catching it" accidentally.

Yes, I'd asked about this on a previous thread. Seems the "hold" function only holds for few seconds, then defaults to unhold. Quite annoying

Ok, yesterday the vibration, as if there were a tiny loose screw around the bottom of the horn on the steering wheel, wouldn’t stop unless I held the bottom. But then toward the end of my drive it went away. I”ve had the car for 13 days. Will bring it in.

HI, I have a GV60 performance, and I notice that when the car is coming to stop while applying the brake, it doesn't seem to stop smoothly and often "jerks" a bit as it finally comes to a complete stop. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and is it related to the clutch and expected behavior for this car? Thanks

My passenger side mirror stopped working. Car less than 3 months old.

i've noticed the same thing when, shortly before stopping, the regen seems to switch off abruptly and the car coasts until i put more pressure on the brake. the only time this doesn't happen is when i'm using i-pedal. i sense this is normal behavior.

Do you have it set to auto? I’ve never experienced this behavior on non-auto settings eg level 1-3 or I-pedal, but have experienced it with auto. One option is to hold down the left paddle for maximum regen braking and release when you come to full stop.

Thanks, yes it seems like the car jerks forward a bit as it comes to a stop, and if the regenerative braking is stopping abruptly before the car fully stops, it makes sense it would cause this to happen. I drive my car with regen set at level 2, and I do not use autohold.

I don't think this is normal behaviour. I've never experienced this, and drive with minimal regen. How much mileage on your vehicles?

Same here

i've played around with different regen levels and settled on 2 (non-auto) without auto-hold as the sweet spot for both city and highway driving. eco mode, just passed 2000 miles, and i generally get 3.1-3.5 mpk on chilly days (30s-40s). so far i've loved the way the car operates, and nothing about it has struck me as super odd or annoying. frankly, though, i don't really know how to assess what behavior might be abnormal.
