  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Rigid Collars installed on my G2!

Yessir. That's the spot.

I think I posted the wrong name of the company I bought them from.

The correct name is ATQ Automotive Products, not ATQ Performance Parts. I couldn't go back and edit my original post.

Sorry for the confusion.

It seems with all this interest we could get a group buy going :grouphug:

Tomi from ATQ was mentioning something about knocking $10 off if there are 25 orders.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
ATQ is willing to do a group buy for us. If we get to 25 they will discount the kits $10 for each of us. Tomi said to go ahead and order and once 25 are sold he will send everyone $10.

Is there some way to signal that we are part of the group buy? Or will he just refund $10 to the next 25 people who purchase?

Thanks!

Per Tomi V at ATQ:

"I will be putting the invoices in a pile. Once I hit 25 then I will send them $10 to their corresponding PayPal account. This way they aren't waiting for the group buy to fill. There's already 5 ordered so 20 more to go. The group buy has been extended to the gen coupes as well so that the odds of hitting the target of 25 are better."

I'm in on the group buy. But Torque values are going to be essential to this being a success.

The instructions included in my kit said 130 ft-lbs.

For those of you with the 5.0, the DIY has been uploaded to the ATQ website, I'm guessing thanks to Forzza1 and his install. I'm also guessing when pdld100 gets his installed on his 3.8 this Friday there will be a DIY up for the 3.8 afterwards.

I got some for my 2012 Optima and the difference was quite noticeable. Very much worth the purchase price for sure!!!!

Is there any issue with material difference between the collars and the frame? If i understand this correctly, the collars are a different material than the steel frame.

Once installed, it looks like you cannot visually tell the collars are there, correct?

Please post feedback after you install them. I am thinking about this.
