Happy owner of 2019 G70 3.3L V6 with sunroof. Love it.
However, noticed about a month ago an impression/dent in the roof behind the moonroof. Thought maybe someone punched it or stepped on it (though had no reason to expect that to be the reason other than the dent was about that size).
Went out today to look at the spot as was sending the car to get serviced and now see there are 2-3 more similar depressions in the roof behind the moonroof.
I’ve seen on other forums mention of potentially the frame transmitting any shocks from potholes or curbs (though I’ve been very careful to avoid the latter while the former cannot always be avoided) into the roof to cause the depressions, particularly on cars with sunroofs, but I’ve never seen it before in any other car I’ve ever driven.
Has anyone else had this issue? I drive the car to have fun but don’t think I’m super aggressive and certainly make a point of not running into things, as I love the low profile rims and am careful not to destroy them.
Thanks
