Round Metal knob?

When you fold down the back seats, these knobs allow you to hang a net to separate the cargo compartment from the front passenger seats.

When I go cod fishing I string a line between them. At the boat I cut and salt the fish, hang them on the line and when I get home I have baccala. Crank up the AC for best results.
