  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got them installed last evening. Easy to fit but make sure you check rotor/attachment clip clearance as it is a tight fit. Looks great and they are made of aluminum with powder coat therefor corrosion should not be an issue. Hardware is SS. Kinda pricey for what they are.

Car is filthy as it has been raining/snowing here for the last 5 days. :(

Got these on ebay.

Acually looks better than imagined. Concern- heat retention?

Set of 4? How much did they run you?

When are you buying some fire-engine red paint, taping them up and filling in those "R"s?

;)

Nope, they really are just a light overlay of the front face of the calliper and are completely open elsewhere. Also being made of aluminum any heat would dissipate quickly.

Anyone found any metal covers for a 4.6?

Why would you want metal and typical corrosion associated problems that comes with metal when the ones mentioned are aluminum? If there was a choice I would definitely go aluminum.
