Re: Do not Buy a Genesis
All correct.
All not reasons to make simplistic, blanket statements.

This.
And it irks me when 1st timers come and do this... and I told him as much in a PM. He opted to reply, and I am posting that reply here.
Oh bullshyte. You came in as a 1-post wonder with your guns blazing, telling people not to buy a genesis - without actually REPORTING it first. This is a DISCUSSION group. Some of us have issues with the car. Come in and TALK about it, isolate it, find a resolution for it... instead of just being a dick right out of the gate. Sorry for being blunt - but calling a spade a spade.
The distance keeping has a very steep learning curve with it. Did you know it was adjustable? Perhaps you have a flawed radar array that simply needs replacement. Maybe the top of your plate sticks out too far (yes - that really is a thing)... or maybe it is just good old user error. DISCUSSION here can yield results.
Whatever it was - it was not a reason to walk in to the forum as a 1st-time poster and lambast the whole frakkin car. That is a giant, neon, flashing sign that reads: AGENDA.
And it's the wrong one to have here.
As an aside - if you would have gotten rear-ended that has nothing to do with your radar - even if it was faulty and failing. It would have simply meant the jackbag behind you was tailgating and following too closely.
I am posting your message to the thread, as well as this response. If you want to continue the discussion & dialogue - do so there.
