  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

sell me lol

Heh. Have a look at the first four cars in my history below. You might think the Datsun would have been half decent, and it was, until it blew a head gasket.

And those were all NEW cars.

Yeah, go ahead, buy a 6-model-year-old car with 100,000 miles on it that you can barely afford. What could possibly go wrong?

I just looked at your car list. wow, those were some AHEM, classics :)

my first car in 1995 was almost a 1990 dodge shadow TURBO.
i probably shouldn't admit this, but it ended up as a dodge neon.

Before they knew it, their lovely 5-bedroom house with the 2-1/2 car garage was in mortgage foreclosure and their credit rating was shot to hell.

I didn't know they built houses with 2 1/2 car garages, though one might come in handy for a motorcycle or Smart Car. Not that I like 1/2 baths - you never know when you're going to need a shower. :)

Seriously, I sometimes wonder if people who drive much more expensive cars than I do can really afford them. (Notice I didn't say better cars.) I suspect that some of them are deep in debt and just hope for the best financially.

When some of my cars got a little long of tooth, and people with shiny new cars would kid me about them, I would tell them that my car had a feature that theirs probably did not. When they asked what that was, I would tell them that mine was paid for!!!!!

When you bought the Infiniti last year didn't you realize it was awful on gas?

If you must have a Genesis why not get a 3.8? I'm guessing you can buy a 2012 3.8 fully loaded with under 40,000 miles for $22,000. If you can't now wait 60 days. When the new G's come out, you'll easily get a G in your price range.

I'd probably even sell my 3.8 with 35K miles and premium/tech packages for something near your price range. If you want to get rid of a gas hog why buy another V8?

Ha. I don't recall ever seeing that commercial, but sadly, I've known a few people who were in that boat. Some of them from buying the boat they were in.

I've always thought that a boat was a hole in the water that you filled with money. I guess that's why even though I always wanted one, I never bought one. :D

I think the saying is that if it flies, f--ks, or floats, it is cheaper to rent.
