  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Service and part change

Hi there, fellow Genesis owners!! I just got a 2009 3.8L v6 tech package with 224,000 miles on the dial... :-( however, I need to know how often I should have the spark plugs replaced and also the oil changed. Anybody with useful info?

Info is available on hyundaiusa owners site

Plugs are every 100K miles, and oil change is 7500 miles.

Transmission, with that mileage should be every 30k, total flush at 60k interval. How is its fluid condition? Oh, might have the coolant checked and possible flush.

How is the Genny condition?

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks a lot Guys for the info, I really appreciate it.
DRS, the general condition is superb, its a well maintained vehicle, however, I took it up to a sustained speed of 112.5 mph and noticed afterwards, that the front windshiels rubber seal had started to come off. I'll get it glued back on though. Besides this, it has no issues....for now!!
